Set a studio camera at up to 188 cm with a geared column and adjustable braces. The bare tripod is rated for 20 kg under UNI/PdR 105:2021 and folds to 80 cm.

Fine height by crank
Open crank L using release ring M, release column lock O and turn the crank to adjust column N. A safety ratchet prevents accidental descent; tighten O at the chosen height for maximum stability.

Choose each leg angle
The braces have two preset click-stop positions. Use the same click-stop position on telescopic braces X for equal leg angles, or adjust each brace separately with knobs K for an asymmetric setup.

Prepare the studio setup
Quick-action lever locks extend the three anti-rotation leg sections. The built-in bubble level helps level the tripod before a sequence of images or a panorama. The three-faceted geared column gives controlled fine height adjustment.
Rubber feet G contain retractable metal spikes H: turn the rubber feet clockwise to expose the spikes and anticlockwise to retract them. The rubber feet do not need to be removed. The tripod is made in Italy.
Attach a separately purchased head to the male 3/8″ screw. Tighten the three retaining screws P beneath the head plate without forcing them. The usable load of the assembled system is limited by its weakest component: tripod, head or accessory.
The head, carrying bag and strap are not included. The supplied leg spanner T adjusts lever-lock tension; the TORX T25 tool mentioned for locking-collar maintenance is not included.
For operation, follow the 2022 manufacturer manual. Choose a service diagram matching the revision or serial number. Peter J’s 2013 video demonstrates the 475B controls; its historical claims do not replace current specifications or instructions.
