The Manfrotto 196AC Micro Clamp is a 40 g mini-jaw grip that secures objects 2–16 mm thick (0.08–0.63") to any Magic Arm or Articulated Arm via a 5/8" socket—perfect for mounting flags, cards, small LEDs, or reflectors in tight spaces.
The Manfrotto 196AC Micro Clamp transforms any 5/8" arm into a versatile holder for thin objects. The spring-loaded aluminum jaws open from 2 mm (business card) to 16 mm (foam core) with a soft rubber pad to prevent scratches, while the rear 5/8" baby socket locks into Magic Arms, 244 Mini/Micro, or Variable Friction Arms with a single twist. At just 40 g, it’s ideal for gobos, diffusers, phone mounts, or mini monitors on cramped sets, product tables, or macro rigs—delivering rock-solid hold without the bulk of full-size clamps.
