The Manfrotto 496 Centre Ball Head upgrades creative control with three independent knobs: main lock for the ultra-smooth sphere, friction dial to pre-balance heavy lenses, and 360° panoramic lock for perfect horizons. The Q6 Top Lock system accepts the included MSQ6PL Arca plate from above, engaging an auto-safety pin before full lever lock—ensuring zero drop risk even mid-setup. Triple bubble levels (pan + dual tilt) guarantee in-camera straightness, while the robust aluminum body (40 mm base, 11.5 cm height) supports 10 kg with ease.
