The monitor is equipped with professional connectivity including 12G-SDI, DVI, and four HDMI inputs. HDMI 2.0 supports 4K video up to 60 Hz, while HDMI 1.4 inputs accommodate additional 4K sources. The 12G-SDI interface enables Full HD and 4K signal monitoring at up to 60 fps, with SDI loop-through output for seamless integration into professional broadcast workflows.

Advanced monitoring functions include full-screen display, side-by-side viewing, top-and-bottom split, picture-in-picture, and Quad View for monitoring up to four video sources simultaneously. Additional features such as adjustable aspect ratios, RGB calibration, tally input, headphone monitoring, and VESA mounting provide the flexibility required for professional production environments.

Designed for both fixed installations and mobile productions, the BM230-12G can be powered via the included AC power supply or compatible Sony V-Mount batteries. A rugged flight case with removable front and rear covers is included to ensure safe transportation and reliable protection on location
