The batteries have a capacity of 2400 mAh, that is 17.28 Wh at 7.2 V. In practice that is roughly 3000 shots each, about 6000 for the whole set. In video one battery lasts around 3 h.

The battery charges straight over USB-C, so on the road a cable and any source will do — a power bank, a laptop or a car charger.

The chip watches over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current, short circuit and overheating, and switches to trickle charging once full.

An indicator on the battery shows charging: red while charging, green when full. Over USB-C it is full in about 2.5 hours.
