K&F Concept Magnetic Filter Kit CPL + Black Diffusion 1/4 + ND2-32 for Insta360 Luna Ultra

Three magnetic filters for the Insta360 Luna Ultra in one kit: a CPL polarizer, a Black Diffusion 1/4 filter and a variable ND2-32 filter. The filter snaps onto the camera's lens block and can stay attached while the camera is stowed.

The package also includes a screen protector, a cleaning cloth and a filter case.

The filters hold onto the camera's lens block magnetically: bring one close, it snaps on, swapping takes a second and nothing is screwed. The frame is so slim that the camera fits its case with the filter attached — no need to take it off before stowing.

Each filter in the kit has its own job. The CPL polarizer clears reflections from the scene, the Black Diffusion 1/4 filter softens highlights into a cinematic bloom, and the ND2-32 filter takes light away where there is too much of it for the right shutter speed.

The glass carries a 28-layer nanometer coating: light-reduction and anti-reflective layers on both sides of the optical glass and a hardened water-repellent layer on top. Drops run off, fingerprints wipe away without smearing and the surface stands up to wiping in the field.

The variable ND2-32 filter is dialled steplessly from 1 to 5 stops of reduction by turning it: ND2 for overcast skies and the golden hour, ND4 when cloudy, ND8 when partly cloudy, ND16 in bright sun and ND32 for long exposures. The shutter speed thus stays at a value that gives motion a natural blur even at midday.

The CPL polarizer removes reflections from water, glass and glossy painted surfaces and brings out the colours lost underneath them; the sky darkens and clouds stand out. In doing so the filter takes away roughly 1 to 2 stops of light and has no effect on reflections from metal and mirrors — that is how polarization works, not a fault. The Black Diffusion 1/4 filter scatters light around bright spots: blown highlights soften, contrast drops slightly and skin loses its digital hardness, so the image looks more cinematic straight out of the camera.
