Nano-B — prism filter 72 mm, breaks the image sideways and multiplies it.
The prism breaks part of the image sideways, so displaced reflections appear beside the main subject. Turning it changes which way the image mirrors and how strongly, so one scene yields several compositions. The effect happens in the lens rather than on the computer, so it can be steered while shooting.
The glass is cut into facets like a kaleidoscope, so the edge of the frame refracts and repeats around a sharp centre. Turning the filter decides where the reflections run, and part of the scene can be left clean.
The effect happens in the glass, not in editing: what refracts is whatever actually shines in the scene, so the result changes with every step sideways.
