The set covers the three most common situations from a single mount. The UV filter protects the front element and can stay on permanently, the polariser takes the glare off water and glass and deepens colour, and the ND1000 cuts ten stops, so long exposures are possible in broad daylight and water or cloud can be blurred. The adapter ring screws on once and the filters then clip on magnetically — a change takes a second, and there is no thread to find by touch in cold weather.

The glass carries 28 anti-reflective layers and reflects only 0.2 % of the light, so no ghosting or veiling appears against the light.

The filter goes on magnetically — a magnetic adapter ring screws onto the lens and the filter holds itself on. A swap takes a second and nothing has to be screwed.

The surface repels water and grease, so drops run off and fingerprints wipe away without smears; the coating also stands up to cleaning in the field.
