Wind out, voice in
Wind hitting a bare microphone turns into a low roar that no editing removes. The windshield breaks the airflow before it reaches the capsule with a layer of acoustically tested foam behind a metal mesh — noise drops, the voice and the ambience stay.
Snaps on, comes off, leaves no trace
It attaches by hand in a second and comes off the same way: no screws, no adhesive pads, no velcro to peel off later. That matters on an action camera you also take underwater or pack into a bag between rides.
Invisible in the 360° shot
The windshield sits where the stitching hides it, so it does not appear in the finished 360° footage. Tip: with the windshield fitted, set Auto Wind Noise Reduction to Strong in the camera audio settings for the best result.
