The Insta360 X4 Air Mic Windshield uses metal mesh and acoustic foam to reduce wind noise outdoors. It snaps onto the camera without tools, adhesive or Velcro, and its semi-enclosed design stays invisible in 360° footage. For the best wind reduction, set Auto Wind Noise Reduction to Strong in the camera’s Audio Settings.

The Insta360 X4 Air Mic Windshield reduces wind noise without covering the 360° view. Its lightweight semi-enclosed frame combines metal mesh and acoustic foam and snaps onto the camera without tools, adhesive or Velcro.
Before recording, set Auto Wind Noise Reduction to Strong in Audio Settings.

The metal mesh and six acoustic foam inserts form a removable wind shield for the camera microphones. They help reduce wind noise outdoors while keeping audio clear and natural.
The shield is designed specifically for X4 Air and stays out of the frame in 360° footage.

The semi-enclosed frame snaps onto the camera and pulls off for removal. Clean and dry the microphones before fitting it; check that the shield is secure and undamaged before recording.
Insta360 advises against using it for water sports or in rain. Keep it dry in storage.
