Cartoni Focus 10

The Cartoni Focus 10 is a lightweight fluid head with a 100 mm bowl for digital cinema cameras and rigs up to 12 kg. Continuous fluid drag on pan and tilt is paired with a patented continuous counterbalance, ±90° tilt, a side-load quick-release plate and an illuminated bubble level. It weighs 2.4 kg and fits any 100 mm bowl tripod.

Patented continuous counterbalance

Counterbalance and fluid drag on both pan and tilt are set continuously, without fixed steps. The camera stays put at any tilt angle, and every move starts and stops without a jolt.

Side-load plate

Slide the camera and plate into the head from the side and lock it in a single move.

Illuminated bubble level

The switchable illuminated level lets you level the head even in low light.

Telescopic pan bar

Extend the pan bar to the length that suits you and angle it to a comfortable position.

−40 to +60 °C

The head works in freezing cold and in heat, so you can use it outdoors all year round.

Counterbalance and level

The continuous counterbalance knob sits at the back of the head, right next to the bubble level, so you can fine-tune it with one hand without removing the camera.

Sliding plate and locks

Slide the plate forwards or backwards until the camera is in balance. The pan and tilt locks are operated by clearly marked levers on the sides.

Payload versus centre of gravity

The chart shows how much camera weight the head’s counterbalance can balance depending on how high above the plate the centre of gravity of the rig sits. The higher the centre of gravity, the lower the payload the head can hold in balance.
