Both lenses maintain focus throughout the zoom range, allowing smooth reframing without refocusing. The Catta full-frame line is engineered for natural, accurate color reproduction and smooth focus-to-defocus transitions. With a constant T2.9 aperture across both lenses, exposure remains stable throughout the zoom range, while the 16-blade iris produces soft, cinematic bokeh. Minimal focus breathing helps maintain framing integrity during focus pulls.

Each lens features true cine mechanics, including 270° focus rotation for precise control, 100° zoom rotation, and wide iris rotation (77° on the 18-35mm and 80° on the 70-135mm). Industry-standard 0.8 MOD / 32 Pitch gears ensure compatibility with professional follow focus systems. The included Sony E-mount is interchangeable with optional RF, L, X, and Z mounts, providing expanded camera platform flexibility.
