The Thypoch Ksana 21mm f/3.5 ASPH Lens with Lens Hood (Leica M, Black) is a compact, manual-focus wide-angle prime lens built for photographers who value both modern optical performance and vintage cinematic aesthetics. Designed for full-frame Leica M-mount systems, it delivers a 21mm focal length with an expansive 80.2° angle of view, making it highly suitable for architecture, landscape, and street photography.

At the heart of the lens is Thypoch’s proprietary Epoch Coating 73, engineered to reproduce the warm, amber-toned flares reminiscent of 1970s cinema lenses while preserving high-resolution clarity and contrast. The optical construction includes aspherical, ED, and HRI elements, ensuring excellent sharpness, minimal chromatic aberration, and controlled distortion across the frame.

The lens features a 9-blade iris that produces smooth, rounded bokeh and well-defined highlight rendering, along with crisp 18-point starbursts at f/4. A manual focus system with a close focusing distance of 0.5 m (1.6 ft) provides precise control, while the scalloped focus ring includes a tactile resistance point at 0.7 m for intuitive switching between rangefinder and EVF focusing methods. The aperture ring ranges from f/3.5 to f/22, offering flexibility in exposure control.
