Desview SP17 Plus

The Desview SP17 Plus is a 17-inch 4K monitor with 400 nits, 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC) and 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage, built into a rugged ABS portable case that fits cabin baggage rules. It has three HDMI 2.0 inputs and two SDI inputs with loop outputs, histogram, waveform and vectorscope, custom 3D LUTs and HDR support. It runs via XLR or from a V-mount battery.

The newer model of the SP series: the ABS case resists dust, high temperatures and impacts, and its size meets aircraft cabin requirements. Once opened, the monitor is ready for the studio, the OB van or outdoor work.

4K with 99.5% DCI-P3

The 17" 4K screen with 400 nits and 1000:1 contrast displays at 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC). The 178° viewing angle keeps colors free of shift from any angle, which also helps with color work.

Case 470 × 415 × 150 mm

The whole monitor in its case measures 470 × 415 × 150 mm and weighs 9 kg. Inside you get histogram, waveform and vectorscope for checking highlights, shadows and color, built-in LUTs and custom 3D LUT import for a cinematic look.

Portable case

The case closes with buckles and has a quick release plate on the bottom, so the monitor goes straight onto a tripod.

Connectors and power

Under the lid are three HDMI inputs, an HDMI output, SDI inputs and outputs, a USB port and a tally connector, next to the XLR power socket and the V-mount battery plate.
