The Cartoni Focus 8 1-St ALU System MS is a single-stage aluminium Cartoni tripod system with the Focus 8 fluid head for cameras of up to 8 kg. The kit contains the Focus 8 head (HF0800), an aluminium T621 tripod, a S708 mid-level spreader, AT857 rubber feet and a C928 soft bag. The head offers continuously variable counterbalance and fluid drag, a 75 mm bowl and ±90° tilt.

Focus 8 and the T621 tripod
The single-stage aluminium KF08-1AM system pairs the T621 tripod with a 75 mm bowl and a mid-level spreader with the Focus 8 (HF0800) fluid head. The head is designed for lightweight camcorders and video-capable cameras weighing from 0 to 8 kg. Continuous fluid drag on pan and tilt is matched by a patented variable counterbalance that covers a wide payload range. The sliding camera plate is compatible with standard Sachtler ACE and Manfrotto plates, and the head has a spirit level and a telescopic pan bar.

The ±90° tilt keeps the balance across the whole range. The head is designed for demanding conditions, and its alloy body gives it the ruggedness needed for news work. The sturdy, lightweight single-stage aluminium tripod with a 75 mm bowl was offered with either a mid-level or a ground spreader.
