The Canare TS100H is a manual coaxial cable stripper. Without any additional tools, it trims the jacket, shield, and dielectric precisely to the lengths specified by Canare for its crimp connectors—and does so consistently every time, so the result does not depend on who is preparing the cable.
A rotary knob switches between five settings. The factory presets are for L-2.5CHD and L-2.5CHLT, L-3.3CUHD, L-3CFB / L-3C2V / L-3C2VS, and L-5CFB cables; the fifth position is unassigned and factory-set to L-4CFB. The manufacturer also lists Belden 1855A and 1505A cables for this model. You can customize the settings for any cable with a jacket diameter of 4 to 11 mm.
Three height-adjustable disc blades perform the cutting; the tool has a hex wrench for adjusting them built into the holder on the body. A special side blade also makes a longitudinal notch in the jacket, allowing the cut section to be easily peeled off. A V-shaped guide groove keeps the cable centered in the chamber, and the blade can be replaced when it becomes dull.
The manufacturer notes that certain cables cannot be processed due to their design: those with a jacket made of hard material (e.g., polyethylene), those with a very soft dielectric (highly foamed polyethylene), those with an outer conductor made of steel wire or copper tubing, and cables that do not fit into the tool due to their large outer diameter.
