Canare ASPT-1 Extraction Tool for HFO Connector Alignment Sleeves

A tool used to quickly remove the guide sleeve from Canare FCFA, FCF7A, FCFRA, and FCFRCA hybrid optical camera connectors so that the ferrule face can be cleaned.

The Canare ASPT-1 is designed for a single purpose—but one you need every time you perform maintenance on optical components: to remove the alignment sleeve from the connector so you can clean the ferrule face. Without it, you cannot reach the contaminated area, and the connection will not transmit.

The tool is designed for Canare FCFA, FCF7A, FCFRA, and FCFRCA hybrid optical camera connectors. It allows you to remove the sleeve quickly and without prying. The FCFA and FCFRA connectors feature a removable sleeve and insulator specifically to allow for cleaning (U.S. Patent 7241055B2 and Japanese Patent 4340186).

For cleaning, Canare recommends CLETOP 2.5/2.0 cleaning swabs (100); these are not included.
