Canare DA202F-2P BLU two-pair AES/EBU digital audio cable (per metre)

The Canare DA202F-2P is a two-pair digital audio cable with 110 Ω AES/EBU impedance, with a blue jacket and an outer diameter of 7.7 mm. It is sold by the metre; the price shown is for one metre.

The DA202F-2P carries two independent digital audio channels in one jacket. Each pair has the 110 Ω impedance the AES/EBU standard calls for, its own shield and its own drain wire, so the signals do not interfere and the cable terminates easily.

The insulation is cross-linked foamed PE, which keeps attenuation low — the manufacturer states a run may be up to 140 m long (AES3 at a 48 kHz sampling rate).

The DA202F series is slim and light compared with older multi-pair cables. Pairs are identified by insulation colour and by the spiral markings on the inner jacket: pair one brown and white, pair two red and white.

Typical uses are links between digital mixing consoles, converters and recorders, rack cabling and anywhere two digital audio lines have to run in one cable. The cable is sold cut to length.
