The Canare BCJ-FPC is a 75Ω video BNC connector designed for surface-mount installation on a printed circuit board. The pins are straight, and the connector is secured to the panel with a nut from the front, so it can be tightened from the front of the device.
PCB-mounted connectors save both labor and money: they eliminate the need for cabling between the PCB and the panel, as well as all the work involved in stripping wires and installing connectors on connecting wires.
The center contact is made of beryllium copper with good elasticity and is gold-plated. The return loss is 26 dB or more up to 1 GHz.
If the connector is to be isolated from the panel, use the Canare IU-7/16 isolation set for the front-nut type and drill the mounting hole to its dimensions.
The manufacturer warns that connectors intended for PCB mounting should never be washed after soldering.
We sell these individually; the manufacturer supplies this jack in packs of 20 or 100.
