Blackmagic Design URSA Viewfinder

The Blackmagic URSA Viewfinder is an optional electronic viewfinder for URSA, URSA Mini and URSA Mini Pro / G2 cameras that makes outdoor and handheld shooting easy. A color OLED display with 1920 × 1080 resolution and glass optics with diopter correction give an image so sharp that you cannot make out individual pixels. The viewfinder has built-in menus, overlays, a digital focus chart and a tally light.

As sharp as an optical viewfinder

An OLED display with 6.22 million pixels and four-element glass optics give an image that matches the optical viewfinders of traditional film cameras. A built-in digital focus chart helps you set up the viewfinder focus.

For left and right eye

The eyepiece can be tilted vertically and extended for left or right eye use. A proximity sensor switches the display off when the viewfinder is not in use, saving power and extending the life of the OLED.

Connection and mounting

The viewfinder plugs into the camera’s SDI output and 12 V power output (4-pin XLR). On the URSA Mini and URSA Mini Pro it is attached with the URSA Mini Shoulder Kit.
