New family of Micro Converter 12G models lets customers use HDMI equipment with professional SDI systems! Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 12G can convert in both directions, in different standards at the same time. Customers can convert SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI simultaneously. Plus it supports camera control protocol conversion, so customers can use Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras with professional SDI live production switchers. 11/12 2021.

Two conversions at the same time

Convert SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI simultaneously, even when each direction uses a different video format. It is two independent broadcast-quality converters in one compact metal enclosure.

Support for SD, HD, Ultra HD and 4K formats

Independent format conversion

Each direction can work in a different SD, HD or Ultra HD standard up to 2160p60. SDI connections support multi-rate operation from 270 Mb/s through 12G-SDI.

Camera control and tally

Bidirectional conversion carries Blackmagic Camera Control and tally between compatible ATEM switchers and Blackmagic cameras. A 33-point LUT is available in the SDI-to-HDMI path.
