Atomos Sumo 19 SE

With a large, bright and colour-accurate 19" LCD screen and 4K recording capability, the Atomos Sumo 19SE HDR/High Brightness Monitor Recorder/Switcher is ideal for streamlining professional video workflows in both filming and post-production. On set, HDR imaging allows cinematographers to take full advantage of the dynamic range of film cameras when shooting in logarithmic or RAW formats.

Record up to 6Kp30 in Apple ProRes RAW

Harness the full potential of SDI RAW film cameras with the Sumo 19SE. Preserve camera sensor data clarity by recording in Apple ProRes RAW up to 6Kp30, 4Kp60 DCI/UHD and 2Kp240 DCI/HD, or record in CinemaDNG up to 4Kp30 DCI. Sumo 19SE is compatible with Sony FS series cameras, Canon C300MKII/C500, Panasonic EVA-1/Varicam LT and more.

10-bit recording in ProRes and DNx up to 4Kp60

Video from any camera or digital source can be captured via SDI or HDMI. Recording is possible up to 10bit 4:2:2 in Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR encoders at 4Kp60. With support for multiple input via SDI, the SUMO 19SE allows up to 4 inputs to be recorded simultaneously, including support for ProRes LT and DNxHD 36 codecs for longer recording times.

High brightness HDR monitor

With 1200 nits brightness, 1920×1080 resolution and 10-bit processing in a durable body, the SUMO 19SE is suitable for any environment. SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs support a wide range of signals, enabling cross signal conversion and offering 4K to HD conversion options.

Live four-channel HD switching and recording

Record up to four 1080p60 streams simultaneously (via 3G SDI Level A only) as separate ISO files and simultaneously record a fifth "program" channel from the routed output. Switch in real-time and view the resulting output live on-site via HDMI or SDI. For streaming, you can connect it via HDMI to a USB converter. Switching is asynchronous, so no need for expensive synchronous sources - even cheaper cameras without timecode/genlock support can be used.

Two balanced XLR inputs with 48V phantom power

Full XLR connectors with 48V phantom power allow you to connect two external microphones and record balanced analog audio. The SUMO 19SE offers separate volume levels, gain and frame delay controls for each channel. Mic or line level audio can be easily synchronized with embedded audio from HDMI or SDI sources.

Recording media

Sumo 19SE records to a 2.5-inch SATA SSD in a Master Caddy II or III; SSDmini is also supported with the AtomX SSDmini Handle. CFast 2.0 is not supported. A recording drive is not included. Check the exact drive model against Atomos’ tested-media list before purchase.

Atomos TX-RX 4K/HD

The Atomos TX-RX set is a powerful wireless 4K/HD video transmission and reception system designed to simplify video monitoring and production workflows - whether on set, in the field or in the studio.

This system is designed for creative professionals who need mobility, flexibility and ease of use without compromise. The TX-RX provides extremely low latency transmission of HD-SDI and 4K HDMI video for long-distance wireless on-set viewing, enabling seamless image transfer from camera to monitor, between monitors and between other devices.

The 19-inch Sumo sunhood is an optional accessory and is not included in this set.

Atomos Sumo Sunhood

When viewing in low light conditions, the Atomos Sunhood for Sumo 19" monitor blocks excessive reflections that blur the displayed image. This is especially important when viewing HDR images, which naturally use a higher contrast range and can be easily covered by glare. The cover attaches with an integrated bracket and uses zippers to hold its shape.
