Cartoni Airfloater

The Cartoni Airfloater is a pneumatic head with a flat base for extremely heavy camera rigs up to 150 kg. Its patented design simulates shoulder-mounted operation, spares the operator’s back and stays very easy to handle even with the heaviest camera. It offers 360° pan and ±35° tilt, weighs 15.5 kg and comes with a 6 bar hand pump and a camera plate.

Shoulder-camera freedom, head-level payload

The Airfloater carries the camera on an air cushion, so you can circle and tilt it freely as if shooting from the shoulder. The red knobs lock the tilt when the shot needs to settle.

The size of a regular head

The platform has a Euro-style quick-release plate, and the head is about the size of a conventional fluid head.

Air bellows and lock

An air bellows inflated with the hand pump works under the platform. The FREE/LOCK lever frees the head for movement or locks it.
