The Cartoni Lambda 50 Third Axis adds the roll axis to the classic Lambda 50 nodal head. It is mounted in place of the Lambda 50 camera stage, creating three independent rotation axes for pan, tilt and roll. Precision cranks on the slide let you combine nodal settings on all three axes. It includes an additional 7-step + 0 fluid drag unit.
A third axis for the Lambda 50
The third axis comes with a hand wheel and a rod with counterweight to compensate offset camera positions. It carries up to 40 kg and weighs 15.5 kg.

Pan, tilt and roll
With the third axis the camera rotates around its nodal point in all three directions – for image rotation, tilted compositions and demanding VFX shots.
Replaces the camera stage
The third axis replaces the camera stage of the Lambda 50.
Precision cranks
Slide cranks let you combine nodal settings on all three axes.
Hand wheel
The roll axis is driven by the supplied hand wheel.
Counterweight
A rod with counterweight compensates offset camera positions.
