Wireless GO Gen 3 is a new generation that includes a pair of transmitters and a dual receiver. It is suitable for recording spoken word, reports, video recordings, vlogs, YouTube posts, or for creating any broadcast-quality audio content. It offers a host of features for capturing clear audio in any situation, including intelligent GainAssist technology and 32-bit recording with 32 GB of internal memory in each transmitter. The advanced RØDE Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission provides best-in-class range of up to 260 m line of sight. Built-in broadcast-quality condenser microphones ensure crystal-clear audio recording. For even better audio recording, the Lavalier II lapel microphone (not included) can be connected to the transmitters. The 3.5 mm TRS microphone input is threaded to prevent accidental disconnection. Wireless GO Gen 3 is versatile and compatible with cameras, phones, and computers. For comfort and versatility, there is a separate button for starting recording, automatic on/off to save battery life, and a TRRS connector on the receiver for audio output or monitoring with headphones.
How does it all work? Each transmitter picks up sound through its built-in microphone or an external Lavalier microphone that can be connected via a 3.5 mm TRS (small jack) input. This sound is transmitted wirelessly to a dual receiver that you can connect to a camera, smartphone, computer, or other recording device, either via USB or a 3.5 mm TRS output. Sound can also be recorded directly to the transmitters.
TX Transmitters
They feature a built-in omnidirectional microphone. Thanks to the 3.5 mm TRS input with a protective screw to prevent accidental removal of the connector, you can also connect an external lapel or video microphone. GainAssist – a smart feature that automatically detects the input signal and adjusts the sensitivity precisely to optimally capture any sound or voice. Each transmitter is equipped with internal memory for normal recording or a smart Safety Channel – recording at two volume levels to two independent channels. Recording in 32-bit quality can be started automatically when the transmitter is turned on, or manually using a button. Each recording is time-stamped with the time it was made. In post-production, synchronization with the video will then be a matter of moments. With Wireless GO Gen 3, you'll never lose any audio content, even if the connection to the receiver is lost or the recording is degraded by excessive noise. You can also use the transmitter as a standalone recording device or smart voice recorder. The USB-C connector is used for charging or connecting to the RØDE Central app. In the app, you can configure the transmitter settings and download audio recordings for further use or archiving. A fully charged internal battery lasts for 7 hours of operation. If it runs out, you can use the Charge Case Plus charging station and work for another 7 hours after recharging.
Dual RX receiver
Wirelessly receives an encrypted digital signal from both transmitters. Simultaneously checks the status of each transmitter and distributes the signal further. The audio output is on a 3.5 mm TRRS connector (small jack). You can also connect headphones to this output for direct monitoring of the received audio. The output level can be adjusted using two buttons on the bottom of the receiver. You can choose between two modes/formats of output audio:
