Viltrox DG-Z AF Macro Extension Tube Ring

The Viltrox DG-Z is a set of two automatic macro extension rings for Nikon Z cameras. The 12 mm and 24 mm rings reduce the minimum focusing distance of a compatible lens, making them suitable for macro photography, reproduction, product shots, and close-up shots. Electronic contacts maintain communication between the lens and the camera, including TTL AE metering; both parts can be used separately or combined.

THREE LENGTHS

Each ring functions independently; when combined, they provide a total length of 36 mm. A longer length increases the magnification while simultaneously shortening the focusing distance.

ELECTRONIC CONNECTION

The contacts facilitate communication between the lens and the camera, including TTL AE metering. The extension rings are not optical adapters: they preserve the characteristics of the lens being used.

The lightweight design combines a metal mount and an ABS body. The set is designed for Nikon Z-system lenses and cameras.
