Product description
The Viltrox AF 56 mm f/1.7 Z is a lightweight portrait prime for Nikon Z APS-C cameras. Its 56 mm focal length gives roughly an 85 mm full-frame equivalent view, F1.7 creates soft bokeh, and the compact approximately 187 g body is easy to carry for portraits, street and travel.
The 11-element, 9-group optical design, quiet STM motor, AF/MF operation, 9-blade aperture, 0.55 m minimum focus and 52 mm filter thread make it a practical everyday prime for stills and video.
Air Series for Nikon Z
Portrait 56 mm in a light body
On a Nikon Z APS-C camera, the Viltrox 56/1.7 gives a natural portrait perspective, strong subject separation and compact dimensions for daily carry.
F1.7 for portraits and low light
The bright F1.7 aperture helps control depth of field indoors and out. The roughly 85 mm full-frame equivalent view is natural for portraits without excessive perspective distortion.
Quiet AF for stills and video
The STM drive is designed for fast, quiet focusing, supports AF/MF and suits portraits, street work and video shots with smoother focus transitions.
Practical Air-series kit
The 52 mm thread accepts common filters, the Z mount keeps electronic communication, and the compact body pairs well with smaller Nikon Z APS-C setups.
