Viltrox AF 35mm F1.7 Air for Sony E is a lightweight APS-C prime with a natural field of view equivalent to about 53 mm on full-frame. It is well suited to portraits, street, travel and everyday photography, combining an F1.7 aperture for low-light work with quiet STM autofocus and eye/face detection support.

A lightweight 35 mm for everyday shooting
AF 35mm F1.7 Air gives Sony APS-C cameras a natural perspective of about 53 mm full-frame equivalent. It is small, weighs around 170 g and still delivers an F1.7 aperture, quiet autofocus and optics designed for clean images.

Natural perspective for portraits, street and travel
A 35 mm APS-C lens feels close to a classic fifty on full-frame. It is tight enough for focused portraits while remaining flexible for everyday scenes, landscape and reportage.
Autofocus that keeps the scene quiet
Viltrox uses an STM motor with lead screw drive. Focusing is fast, quiet and suitable for video, with eye and face detection available on supported cameras.
Smoother video and close detail
The lightweight build helps on a gimbal and during handheld video. A 0.33 m minimum focus distance lets you move in for details while keeping strong subject separation.
Clean image quality from compact optics
The 11-element, 9-group optical design includes one ED, one aspherical and two high-refractive elements. Nano coatings help reduce flare and ghosting while keeping colours vivid.
Ready for long-term use
A metal mount, waterproof front coating, lotus-shaped hood and USB-C firmware update port make this lens a practical everyday tool.
