The Vaxis Storm 3000 DG transmitter with two pass-through Gold Mount plates powers itself and the camera from one battery. Uncompressed 1080p60 with under 1 ms latency up to 3000 ft, 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs and SDI loop.

Storm 3000 DG is the Storm 3000 transmitter with two Gold Mount plates: one takes the battery, the other mounts it straight onto a Gold Mount camera or device, and power passes through. It sends the image uncompressed up to 3000 ft (914 m) with under 1 ms of delay and has a 2-pin LEMO input for external power.

Two Gold Mount plates

The transmitter sits between camera and battery and powers both from one source. No extra cable and no separate battery for the transmitter.

Camera connections

3G-SDI and HDMI inputs and an SDI loop output for an on-camera monitor. It carries timecode and metadata and supports ARRI ALEXA Mini instant playback.

One battery for the whole rig

Pass-through Gold Mount plates simplify the camera build: one battery instead of two plus a cable. Meanwhile the transmitter sends a full-quality image without compression and practically without delay.

Multicast

One transmitter for several Storm 3000 receivers.
