Product description

The Vaxis Storm 1000S kit with a Gold Mount receiver sends visually lossless 1080p60 with under 1 ms latency up to 1148 ft. SDI and HDMI inputs, cross-conversion, receiver with 2× SDI and HDMI out for monitors.

Storm 1000S is a compact wireless link for film and TV production. The transmitter takes the signal over 3G-SDI or HDMI, cross-converts between them and passes it on via SDI loop. The receiver with integrated Gold Mount plate outputs the image on two 3G-SDI and one HDMI – with under 1 ms of delay over up to 1148 ft (350 m).

Compatible interfaces

The transmitter has 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs, an SDI loop output and HDMI/SDI cross-conversion. It passes timecode and metadata, and 0′ mode supports ARRI ALEXA Mini instant playback.

Clean channels

Twenty selectable channels in the 5.1–5.9 GHz band at 20 or 40 MHz width. Bright LCD screens on every unit show status and scan results.

Reliable on set

Metal bodies with internal antennas and side cooling fans are ready for full shooting days. The system is compatible with the Storm 058, 800, 2000 and 5000 series.
