Designed with flexibility and balance in mind, this system enables secure mounting of matte boxes, focus control systems, wireless receivers, and other 15mm rod–compatible accessories without adding unnecessary bulk or top-heaviness.

Ideal for use with VariZoom’s VZ-FCU and EFCU focus controls, the VZ-DVRODS is especially well suited for Sony PMW-300, PMW-200, EX1, and EX3 cameras, while remaining compatible with most other cameras on the market. The adjustable baseplate provides a wide range of height and depth adjustment, and the reversible X-Y adjustment plates allow additional upward positioning to accommodate different camera bodies and lens setups.

Constructed from aluminum with stainless steel fasteners and lightweight carbon fiber rods, the DV Rods system maintains a low center of gravity for smoother handling and improved stability. Additional threaded mounting points allow the attachment of aft-mounted rods, making it possible to counterbalance front-heavy accessories and further expand your rig.
