Saramonic LavMicro-S

The Saramonic LavMicro-S is a compact stereo lavalier microphone with two capsules that records true stereo straight into DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, recorders, phones and tablets. The fixed cable is 5 m long. A battery module with an LR44 battery lets it work with devices that do not power a microphone, such as the Canon C100 or Nikon D7000. A gold-plated 6.3 mm TRS adapter is included too.

Battery module

Some devices do not send plug-in power through the cable. That is why the LavMicro-S has a battery module with an LR44 battery, so it works with any camera, recorder, phone or tablet with a mic input.

Clip and foam windscreen

A strong clip holds the microphone on collars and clothing and the foam windscreen reduces unwanted wind noise.

Phone and camera

The 3.5 mm plug fits phones and tablets as well as a camera mic input. The gold-plated 6.3 mm TRS adapter connects the microphone to cameras such as the Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera or to a combo XLR/jack input on a recorder.

True stereo

Most lavalier microphones are mono and leave the second camera track unused. The LavMicro-S has two capsules and captures the voice together with the space around it, giving recordings a natural sense of place.

Tidy cables

Two hook-and-loop cable ties keep the 5 m cable tidy. A mini screwdriver and two replacement screws are included as well.

Straight into the camera

The microphone plugs directly into the 3.5 mm input of a camera or camcorder and records to both tracks. The 5 m cable gives plenty of room to position the speaker in front of the camera.
