The Ulanzi MA55 is a magnetic enclosure for M.2 2230 or 2242 NVMe SSDs with a capacity of up to 2 TB. With transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s, USB-C Power Delivery, and active cooling, it serves as a practical storage solution for direct 4K ProRes recording from a compatible phone.

The magnetic design allows you to attach the MA55 to a compatible phone or case to create a compact mobile recording setup. It supports 30- and 42-mm-long M.2 NVMe drives with capacities up to 2 TB.

10 Gb/s for Direct 4K ProRes Recording

The USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface offers a theoretical speed of up to 10 Gb/s and allows compatible phones to record video directly to the inserted SSD. This keeps the phone’s storage free, and long recordings can be quickly transferred to a computer.

Active cooling and pass-through power

A built-in fan dissipates heat during extended recording sessions. The USB-C PD 3.0 port accepts up to 100 W and can deliver up to 85 W to a compatible device, allowing you to record and charge your phone at the same time.
