The MA38 works as a magnetic mount for metal, a phone stand, a handheld grip, the so-called mantis mode on a wall and a mini tripod. You switch between modes by folding and unfolding the legs and arms.

The double-sided magnetic ring holds a MagSafe phone or a compatible case. The magnetic force exceeds 14 N, so the phone stays firmly in place while you shoot.

The joints rotate by 180° and tilt smoothly, so you can turn the phone between landscape and portrait with ease. Unfolded legs give the stand a solid footing.

A light or filters on the other side

The Ulanzi MA38 MagLock is a compact magnetic stand for mobile photography and video. It works as a tabletop tripod, handheld grip, MagSafe mount and quick-release adapter, which makes it suited to vlogging, livestreaming, product shots and everyday content creation. The double-sided MagSafe-compatible mount holds a phone on one side and small accessories, such as an LED light, on the other. Swivel joints with a 180° range make it easy to set the angle for horizontal and vertical shots, and the foldable base turns into a compact handheld grip when folded. The magnetic mount attaches to suitable metal surfaces, and a 1/4"-20 thread and an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate cover traditional rigging. The aluminum alloy body weighs about 108 g and a foldable hook makes it easy to hang on a bag or belt.
