30 m night vision

An integrated IR LED with an automatic IR-cut filter switches the camera to night mode on its own as soon as the light fades. The image stays sharp in complete darkness up to 30 m away, so the camera keeps watching a driveway, yard or car park through the night. The light sensor on the front handles the switching without any user intervention.

People, vehicle and animal detection

The onboard processor recognises people, vehicles and animals by itself. In UniFi Protect you can set alerts accordingly and quickly find a specific event in the recordings. The 1/2.4" sensor with 2688 × 1512 resolution (4MP, 16:9) records at 30 FPS, and the built-in microphone adds audio to the video.

Outdoors in any weather

The aluminium alloy and UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure is IP66 weatherproof and IK04 tamper resistant. The camera operates from −30 to 50 °C and at up to 90% non-condensing humidity, so it can go on a façade, under a canopy or into unheated spaces.

Ceiling or wall mounting

The camera head adjusts in three axes: pan 360°, tilt 75° and rotate 360°, so you can aim it correctly from a ceiling or a wall. Mounting hardware is included; a junction box or arm mount can be used optionally. A reset button on the underside restores the factory settings.

One cable for data and power

The camera is powered over PoE (37–57 V DC) and draws no more than 4 W. A 30 cm cable with an RJ45 connector leads out of the body, and the weatherproof cable gland from the box protects the joint. A single Ethernet cable to a PoE switch or injector is all it needs, with no separate power supply or socket at the camera.

The UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra is a fifth-generation camera from the UniFi Protect series. It features a 1/2.4" CMOS sensor with a resolution of 4MP (2688 × 1512 px, 16:9) at 30 FPS. The fixed lens has a viewing angle of 102.4° horizontally, 54.9° vertically and 120.6° diagonally. The camera is equipped with a microphone (can be disabled) and one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, through which it is powered using PoE 802.3af or passive PoE with an input voltage of 37–57 V DC. For night mode, the camera is equipped with IR illumination with a range of 30 m. Maximum power consumption is only 4 W!
