The lens fits directly on Nikon Z mirrorless cameras, no adapter needed. On a full-frame sensor it gives a 45° angle of view – the classic 50 mm framing for street, portrait and everyday photography.

The optical design with 6 elements in 5 groups is built for full frame. On an APS-C camera the angle of view narrows to 32°.

Manual focus from 0.5 m

Focusing is manual with a ring carrying a distance scale, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.5 m. A second ring sets the aperture from F2 to F16.

Compact dimensions

With the Nikon Z mount the lens measures 38 × 63 mm and weighs 190–210 g. The 43 mm front filter thread takes common screw-in filters such as UV, polarising or variable ND.
