Tilta Illusion Magnetic Dual 95mm Filter Tray Holder

The Tilta Illusion Magnetic Dual 95mm Filter Tray Holder is a filter holder that attaches magnetically to the Illusion Magnetic adapter ring and takes two Illusion 95 mm circular filters at once — both can be rotated in it. The earlier, non-magnetic Illusion 95 mm filters thus work on the same ring as the new magnetic ones: a polariser with angle adjustment, or two effect filters stacked. Lightweight aluminium construction, silver. The adapter ring is required for use and is sold separately.

The Tilta Illusion Magnetic Dual 95mm Filter Tray Holder (TF-MFH-D95) is a magnetic holder for two Illusion 95 mm circular filters on the Illusion Magnetic adapter ring.

Two 95 mm circular filters, both rotatable

The holder has two positions for Illusion 95 mm circular filters (non-magnetic), and each filter can be rotated in it. With the Illusion 95 mm polariser you set the polarisation angle; with effect filters — Black Mist, Glimmer, Digital Diffusion, Streak — you combine two effects at once or turn the direction of the streaks. The holder is made of aluminium and adds practically no bulk to the lens.

Magnetically onto the adapter ring

The holder connects to the Illusion Magnetic adapter ring magnetically, just like the magnetic filters — in one move, no threading. The ring comes for 67, 72, 77, 82 and 86 mm threads; it is required to use the holder and is sold separately.

Existing filters, one connected system

Anyone with a set of Illusion 95 mm circular filters does not have to start over because of the magnetic system: the holder brings them onto the adapter ring that the new Illusion magnetic filters click onto as well. Two filters at once, one ring on the lens, one set for every lens with a ring.

The setup from the lens outwards: the Illusion Magnetic adapter ring, the holder attached to it magnetically, and two Illusion 95 mm circular filters in the holder. Each filter is inserted into the holder separately and rotated separately.

The Tilta Illusion Magnetic system

This holder brings the earlier Illusion 95 mm circular filters — polariser, Black Mist, Glimmer, ND and others — onto the same ring, so both filter lines share one lens and one ring.
