Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX9 - V-mount V2

The Tilta ES-T18 camera cage for the Sony PXW-FX9 in V-Mount V2 trim wraps around the camera body and protects it without covering the controls. The top plate carries 15mm LWS rod adapters for the viewfinder, the baseplate underneath is Sony VCT-U14 compatible and comes with an ergonomic shoulder pad and ARRI rosettes for accessory handles. The V-Mount battery plate powers the camera and its accessories and slides for shoulder balance.

The cage is built from a top plate, a side plate and a baseplate that grip the camera on three sides while leaving the ports and controls reachable. The top plate fits snugly around the camera’s original top handle and carries 15mm LWS rod adapters at the front, so the viewfinder mounts easily.

Underneath sits a baseplate compatible with the Sony VCT-U14. Accessories attach to 15mm LWS rods at the front or the back, ARRI rosettes on both sides take accessory handles or Sony’s own PXW-FX9 operating handle, and a lens adapter support is built into the front.

The baseplate has an ergonomic shoulder pad underneath — detach it from the VCT-U14 plate and the camera is ready for shoulder work in moments. A Tilta quick release adapter can replace the VCT plate, putting the rig onto Tilta Standard dovetails.

A side plate adds further protection and, together with the top plate, offers a range of 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads for the rest of your accessories.

The V-Mount battery plate attaches directly to the back of the top plate and hugs the rear of the camera. It offers several power outputs for accessories and slides to different distances from the camera body, so you can balance the rig on your shoulder.
