Product description

A 15 mm rod support kit for the Tilta MB-T15 Mini Matte Box. Compared with the bare arm it adds a bottom 15 mm rod holder and the 15 × 100 mm rod itself — you get the whole chain from camera to matte box rather than only its last link. The support takes the weight of the matte box and filters, so the front of the rig does not droop and the lens stays aligned.

The bottom holder fixes under the camera or to the cage, the 15 × 100 mm rod slides into it, and the support arm bolted under the matte box rests on that rod. Height and extension are adjustable, so the axis of the matte box lines up with the axis of the lens.

The manufacturer notes that this support is not meant for lenses whose front element extends while focusing.
