Designed for full-frame photography, this versatile normal-length prime is ideal for portraits, street photography, travel, and everyday shooting. Its fully manual focus construction offers precise control, while a close minimum focusing distance of 17.7" (45 cm) enables detailed close-up compositions beyond traditional rangefinder limits.

Optimized for both photographers and videographers, the lens features a convenient aperture de-click switch on the barrel, allowing seamless transitions between clicked and smooth aperture adjustments. The fast f/1.4 maximum aperture excels in low-light conditions and produces shallow depth of field with smooth subject separation. A 14-blade diaphragm enhances bokeh quality, creating round, pleasing highlights.

The optical design incorporates 8 elements in 6 groups, including one aspherical element, one extra-low dispersion (ED) element, and three high-refractive index (HRI) elements. This configuration effectively minimizes spherical and chromatic aberrations while maintaining excellent sharpness and color accuracy. High refractive index multilayer coatings improve light transmission up to T1.5, delivering vibrant images with strong contrast.
