The Teradek CTRL.5 is a professional wireless FIZ lens-control handset featuring a 5-inch ultra-bright SmallHD touchscreen powered by CTRL.OS. Designed for the Teradek RT Lens Control Ecosystem, it provides precise focus, iris, and zoom control while displaying critical lens data overlays directly on the screen. With 11 programmable function buttons, multiple mounting points, and a wireless range of up to 5,000 ft, CTRL.5 is built for demanding professional productions.
The Teradek CTRL.5 raises the standard for wireless FIZ lens-control handsets by combining precision lens control with a bright 5-inch SmallHD touchscreen. Powered by CTRL.OS, an evolution of SmallHD's PageOS, the integrated display allows operators to view critical lens data overlays while pulling focus without taking their eyes away from the video feed.
CTRL.5 allows lenses to be calibrated to pre-marked focus rings and provides quick access to configurations directly from the touchscreen or through 11 programmable function buttons. Its four-axis control system—including a knob, slider, rocker, and wheel—provides versatile control for professional focus, iris, and zoom workflows. The handset also includes numerous mounting points for attaching accessories and supports run/stop control for a wide range of professional cameras, including RED, ARRI, Phantom, Sony, Blackmagic, and Canon systems.
Fully cross-compatible with the Teradek RT Lens Control Ecosystem, CTRL.5 offers wireless operation with a range of up to 5,000 ft. Please note that CTRL.5 is not compatible with older RT overlay cables. Depending on the monitor setup, a compatible 5-pin to USB A or 5-pin to 5-pin cable and, where required, a dual 5-pin USB adapter may be needed.
