The SWIT KA-R31B B-mount Hotswap Plate is a professional power and signal distribution solution designed specifically for ARRI ALEXA MINI and MINI LF cameras. Featuring built-in backup battery cells, 28V regulated output, and SDI distribution, it enables true hot-swapping without powering down the camera.

The SWIT KA-R31B B-mount Hotswap Plate is engineered for seamless power management on ARRI ALEXA MINI and MINI LF cameras. Designed for direct installation, it supports B-mount batteries and delivers regulated 28V power (22–33.6V) to the camera via an 8-pin LEMO DC output, ensuring reliable performance for high-end cinema production.

The KA-R31B features internal 32Wh (3Ah) battery cells, providing at least 2 minutes of backup runtime when the main B-mount battery is removed. During this period, the plate supplies regulated 28V output, allowing operators to hot-swap batteries without shutting down the camera. A built-in 120-second countdown display clearly indicates remaining backup time.

Supporting demanding workflows, the unit delivers up to 200W constant output and includes multiple regulated accessory outputs: two 14V D-tap ports, a 14V 2-pin LEMO output, and a USB 5V/2A port. For expanded system integration, it also supports 22–33.6V 8-pin DC input from external power stations for hot-swap operation.

In addition to power distribution, the KA-R31B provides 3G-SDI 1-in / 2-out signal distribution with an integrated SDI isolator, ensuring stable and protected video signal routing. Built with an aluminum CNC unibody housing and equipped with multiple circuit protections, the KA-R31B is a robust, production-ready solution for professional cinema environments.
