SmallRig Monopod with Triple Ground Spikes and Panoramic Ball Head with Arca-Swiss Plate 6397

The SmallRig 6397 is a monopod with three ground spikes, made for terrain where a tripod cannot find footing — broken ground, muddy riverbanks, or places where setting a tripod up would cost you the shot. The aluminium alloy three-prong spike goes into the ground and forms a stable, tripod-like base.

The aluminium telescopic pole locks securely and is easy to clean. A 1/4"-20 screw on top takes a panoramic ball head, a camping light or a panoramic camera; a 3/8"-16 threaded hole at the bottom connects to the ground spike or to a tripod. The kit includes a panoramic ball head with a standard Arca-Swiss quick release, so you switch between landscape and portrait quickly and fine-tune the angle freely.

The manufacturer notes that the set is not intended for rock or hard surfaces and that it may tilt in strong wind. Maximum supported load once inserted into the ground is 90.0 kg. The spikes are blunt, not sharpened.
