The SmallRig 6528 is a monopod with three ground spikes, made for terrain where a tripod cannot find footing — broken ground, muddy riverbanks, or places where setting a tripod up would cost you the shot. The aluminium alloy three-prong spike goes into the ground and forms a stable, tripod-like base.

The aluminium telescopic pole locks securely and is easy to clean. A 1/4"-20 screw on top takes the phone support, a camping light or a panoramic camera; a 3/8"-16 threaded hole at the bottom connects to the ground spike or to a tripod. The kit includes an aluminium alloy phone support that grips the phone firmly and lets you switch between landscape and portrait in seconds; the cold shoe on its top carries a light or a microphone.

The quick-mount accessory bracket hangs a power bank or a camping light off the pole. The manufacturer notes that the set is not intended for rock or hard surfaces and that it may tilt in strong wind. Maximum supported load once inserted into the ground is 90.0 kg. The spikes are blunt, not sharpened.
