SmallRig Lightweight Video Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit AD-50 Pro 4420

A carbon-fibre SmallRig AD-50 Pro video tripod with a fluid head for work outdoors. It drops from 151 cm to 31 cm, folds to 68 cm and the whole kit weighs 3.2 kg — light to carry, steady under load. The head takes up to 6 kg of gear.

The kit includes a compact fluid head, featuring a damping system, that allows you to pan the camera smoothly. When its center of gravity height is put at 50mm, the panning, and pre-set fixed counterbalance system can help precisely control the camera or other rigs weighing up to 4kg for great counterbalance. The video head can carry as much as 6kg (13.2lb). It has a newly designed snap-on quick-release plate mount, a more efficient mounting solution than traditional slide-on ones, which is DJI RS series quick-release plate and 501PL quick-release plate compatible to realize a free switch between stabilizer shooting and tripod shooting. The kit also features 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching accessories like magic arms, along with a built-in flat head screw for convenient camera installation and removal. It weighs only 3.2kg.

Both the legs and the centre column are carbon fibre. FreeSpeed technology locks the two leg sections with a single flip, and the bowl base built into the centre column allows quick levelling; the hex key is stowed removably in the video head. The lowest position of 31 cm allows low-angle shots, and folded to 68 cm the tripod fits ordinary luggage.

1. Before shooting, make sure the head and tripod locking status are in normal condition.
2. Avoid use in sandy or dusty environments to prevent the risk of damage.
3. After using the short center column, mounted on the center column, need to ensure the locking status.

5. The weight capacity of the tripod head is not the absolute limit; it varies depending on the type of equipment, lenses used, accessories attached, and changes in the center of gravity.
