The SmallRig AP-02 aluminium travel tripod carries 8 kg, weighs 1150 g and folds to 530 mm. Non-round leg tubes and centre column save room in a backpack, the four-section legs reach 1590 mm and hidden spikes handle soft ground.

The non-round leg tubes and centre column keep the tripod as compact as possible while staying stable. The 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 top screw takes fluid and photo heads alike, and three 1/4"-20 threads in the leg hubs accept the SmallRig 3238 and 2115C magic arms for a microphone, monitor or video transmitter. The silicone feet hide spikes that also work with the pads removed.
