The SmallRig Half Cage for Nikon ZR 5905 is purpose-built to improve camera expandability and simplify gimbal mounting workflows. Designed with a lightweight half-cover structure, it allows quick and effortless installation without detaching the DJI RS gimbal’s quick-release plate—saving valuable setup time during shoots.

The base features a built-in Arca-Swiss quick release plate, enabling direct mounting on Arca-type tripods such as ID 5290 and 4222B, as well as DJI stabilizers including RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3 Pro, and RS 4 Pro. This ensures rapid transitions between tripod and gimbal setups, significantly improving workflow efficiency.

For maximum versatility, the cage provides multiple expansion options including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, allowing attachment of accessories such as top handles (ID 3765, 4927) and magic arms (ID 5308, 4900). The integrated HawkLock quick release NATO rail supports compatible top handles (ID 5632, 4483), side handles (ID 5633, 4485), and monitor mounts (ID 4487).
