The SmallRig Base Plate for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / Alpha 7 IV 3666 aims to improve the holding experience and enable tripod and handheld shooting while protecting the bottom of the camera. It attaches to the bottom of the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw and positioning pin and features a built-in silicone pad to prevent scratches and twisting. The battery door has a spindle key that adapts to the curve of the camera and leaves room for the little finger for a comfortable grip; embedded in selected genuine leather in the base plate, it integrates into the camera body. 1/4"-20 threaded holes and cold shoe mounts on the bottom support mini tripods and microphones. In addition, the Arca-compatible base plate allows for quick switching between tripod, stabilizer (DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro), and handheld shooting. An accessible built-in magnetic key makes disassembly and assembly easy.
