The simple SHAPE handle attaches to a camera or camera rig via a standard ARRI mount. Spring-loaded toothed levers clamp the mount, keeping the handle in the set position even during long shoots handheld or on the shoulder.
The handle features two pivot points. The patented push-button—for which SHAPE is known—unlocks the rubber grip for a full 360° of rotation when pressed; simply release the button, and the grip is locked again. A lever on the mounting plate then allows the entire handle to be tilted. Adjustments take just a second and require no tools.
The parts are CNC-machined from hard-anodized aluminum, and the locking mechanism is made of stainless steel. The rubber grip provides a secure hold even in wet conditions and dampens vibrations.
