Sennheiser MZQ 600

The Sennheiser MZQ 600 is a microphone clamp for the MKE 600 shotgun microphone and for any other microphone with a 20 mm outer diameter. It holds the microphone on a stand at the angle you set, so on a tripod or a lectern it stays pointed where it should. A 3/8" thread adapter is included, so it fits ordinary microphone stands without hunting for a reducer. It also serves as a spare — the clamp is the part of a kit that gets lost or broken first.

A shotgun microphone is long and heavy at one end, so a poor clamp lets it sag. The MZQ 600 grips right around the 20 mm barrel and holds the angle you set.

The 3/8" adapter is in the box

A 3/8" thread adapter comes with the clamp, so it fits ordinary microphone stands without hunting for a reducer. And because clamps are lost and broken long before microphones are, it can be bought on its own as a spare.
